Cardboard, paper fram the Danish news paper Børsen. 60 x 80 x 8 cm and 120 x 52 x 9 cm.
The sculptures, which resemble shields, are made of pap mache with paper from the newspaper Børsen, which is easily recognizable due to its pink color. Fragments of head lines and articles are visible, for example: "I stand strong in the head wind" and "Why settle?". The title Nocturnals refers to the newsprint, which is an easily perishable material that yellows in sunlight. In this way the shields are fragile structures in need of protection in order to be preserved.
